Teen Beginner Pottery Wheel Class

This beginner-friendly pottery wheel class is designed especially for teens who are curious about clay and ready to get their hands dirty. Students will learn the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel, including centering clay, pulling walls, shaping simple forms, and safely using studio tools.

Throughout the class, teens will create functional pieces such as bowls, cups, or small vessels while building confidence and coordination at the wheel. We’ll also cover basic surface design, trimming, and glazing so each student can finish their work with their own personal style.

No prior experience is needed. This class emphasizes patience, creativity, and skill-building in a supportive studio environment. All materials and firings are included, and finished pieces will be ready for pickup after firing.
